Ideation 2019 Planning Committee

Soufiane Aboulhouda  ( Ideation Committee Co-Director)  is a third year PhD student in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Program at Harvard. His research in the lab of Dr. George Church at the Wyss Institute is focused on multiplexed genome engineering and cell therapies. Soufiane serves as the President of the Harvard Biotech club and is the Director of the Activate program.

Her research in the lab of Dr. Rick Young at the Whitehead Institute is focused on transcriptional dysregulation in cancer. Lena is on the Executive Board of the MIT Biotech Group as the Director of Finance. She has been with the Ideation team since it was founded three years ago.

Ali serves as the co-Director of communications in the Harvard Biotech Club.

Dr. Abir Yamak  ( Partnerships)  is a Postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where she is investigating cardiovascular diseases. Abir works on the programming team within the Harvard Biotech Club.

Catherine Henry   (Communications)  Is a second-year PhD student in the Biological Engineering Program at MIT where her research interests lie in drug discovery and development. Catherine serves as the Co-Director of Entrepreneurship in the MIT Biotech Group.

Her research is focused on investigating the role of genes in the developing neural brain progenitor cells that are susceptible to recurrent DNA double-stranded break clusters, implicated in neuronal diversity and brain cancer. Aseda is the Chair of Lecture Series in the Harvard Biotech Club.
